Recently, the School of Culture and Creativity (SCC) at Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU) and Zhuhai Beishan Lihe Cultural Industry Investment Co., Ltd. signed an agreement to establish a Joint Industry-academic Base for Research, Innovation and Education. This partnership aims to enhance students' practical skills, improve overall competence, and facilitate mutually beneficial collaboration among academia, industry, and research, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the cultural industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Leveraging its resources in cultural event organization, exhibition services, and art agency, Beishan Lihe will form a professional supervisor team to provide students with abundant industry practice opportunities, helping them transform classroom theories in creative planning, project management, and market operations into practical skills that meet industry demands. Senior management and technical experts from the company will also be invited to campus to share insights on cultural industry trends, offering an industrial perspective to academic research and talent cultivation.

This collaboration is a significant step of the School of Culture and Creativity in advancing the educational philosophy that International Liberal Arts Education Empowered by Industry Practice. By integrating real case and projects as well as industry standards into the curriculum, it not only enhances students' practical competitiveness and career alignment but also dynamically optimizes the CCM programme, fostering a virtuous cycle where industry drives learning. On the research front, the partnership will serve as a bridge for collaborative innovation between academia and industry, enabling faculty and students to engage in research and creative development projects that address real corporate needs, thereby transforming research into industrial value.
