CCM Students Won the Special Prize at the 15th “Yuanhua Cup” National College Student Exhibition and Creativity Competition


From November 7 to November 9, 2025, the final of the 15th “Yuanhua Cup” National College Student Exhibition and Creativity Competition, was successfully held in Guangdong by the China Convention/Exhibition/Event Society, The Federation of Consumer Products Trade Center of All China Cities, and the National Digital Exhibition Industry-Education Integration Community. With the theme of “Digital Empowerment, AI-driven, and Integration of Industry and Education”, this year’s competition attracted 464 teams from 87 universities in more than 20 provinces ofnd cities across the country to compete. A student team from Culture, Creativity and Management (CCM) programme stood out and won the Special Prize in the “Exhibition plus Planning” track.

The participating team “Hou Sai Lei” consists of CCM students Yiwen Long, Ziyan Huang, Kairan Zhang, and Keren Wang. Guided by Dr. Xi Wang, Programme Director of CCM, the team has been fully preparing for the competition since its launch in April. Closely following the competition theme, the team combined the policy dividends of Hengqin and the development trend of the wellness industry to create the entry work “Intelligent Link · Wellness Enjoyment: Future Wellness Hotel Exhibition · Hengqin 2026”. The plan constructs a vertical ecological exhibition through exhibition discussions and experiences, integrates innovative forms such as the RSDR Sleep Personality Test, and accurately meets industrial needs.


In the final, the student team presented the core of the plan through a clear roadshow: relying on the policy foundation of Hengqin, adopting the model of exhibition experience and  cross-border linkage, it formed advantages with highlights such as AI precise matching of supply and demand and scientific business planning. Their solid professional expertise and excellent presentation skills were highly recognized by the judges, and they finally won the National Special Prize.

This work focuses on the wellness and smart fields. Through contents such as the release plan of the “Hengqin Initiative for Future Wellness Hotels”, it demonstrates the team's ability to solve industry problems, and is a vivid manifestation of the effectiveness of the CCM programme's integration of competition and education in talent training. For a long time, the CCM program has kept pace with industry trends and cultivated applied talents with both innovative and practical abilities through project-based teaching.

As an influential benchmark event in the field of domestic exhibition education, the “Yuanhua Cup” Competition has always kept pace with the pulse of industry development and built an important exchange platform for the integration of industry and education. This year’s competition not only set a new record in the number of participants, but also emphasized the dual orientation of digital innovation and practical ability in the evaluation criteria. A total of 113 teams advanced to the national final from across the country. After multiple rounds of rigorous assessments including plan roadshows and judge defenses, 8 Special Prizes and 105 first and second prizes were finally selected, making the competition particularly fierce.


Taking this opportunity, the college will further deepen the education and teaching reform of related programs, optimize the curriculum system, strengthen the teaching practice platform, and encourage more teachers and students to carry out creative curriculum practice focusing on regional strategies and industrial development needs. They will temper their skills and broaden their horizons in high-level academic competitions, deliver more talents for the high-quality development of the cultural creativity and exhibition industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, and let the power of youth shine in serving national strategies and local economic development.
