[CCM Awards] Lingnan Creation · Wenrubi Youth Cultural & Tourism Creative Planning Competition Comes to a Successful Close


On May 13, 2026, students from CCM4053 Cultural Heritage and Tourism course delivered on-site presentations for the " Lingnan Creation · Wenrubi Youth Cultural & Tourism Creative Planning Competition ". The event was co-hosted by School of Cultural and Creativity – Culture, Creativity and Management (CCM) program and Wenrubi Culture Media Co., Ltd. and organized under the coordination of Ms. KK WAN Wanqi.


Mr. HE Dazhi, the Founder of Wenrubi Culture Media Co., Ltd., who attended the event as a judge. He offered professional comments and guidance on the planning proposals submitted by all participating teams. Each group presented cultural and tourism planning proposals centered on Lingnan pottery sculpture and Wenrubi culture. They covered market analysis, operation, marketing, budget and other sections, the proposals targeted young tourists in the Greater Bay Area, which helped carry forward intangible cultural heritage and boost the development of the cultural tourism park.


After comprehensive evaluation, the team consisting of Li Yuxuan, Lin Xuantong, Zhang Weixi, Li Yitian and Huang Jiayue claimed the first prize in the " Lingnan Creation · Wenrubi Youth Cultural & Tourism Creative Planning Competition "with their proposal titled The Social Hub: An Immersive Shiwan Ceramic Heritage Model for the Greater Bay Area”.

This event served as a showcase of students' learning outcomes and bridged theoretical knowledge with industrial practice. Taking pottery sculpture as the medium and cultural IP as the core, the students demonstrated their creativity and youthful commitment to cultural inheritance through cultural and tourism innovation. After the award ceremony, Ms. KK WAN Wanqi presented BNBU cultural and creative souvenirs to Mr. HE Dazhi to express gratitude for his professional guidance and support for teaching activities.
