Cultivating Creativity and Empowering Culture: The "Cultural and Creative Design into Communities" Planning Contest was Held Successfully


On December 10, 2025, under the organization of Ms. Wan Wanqi from the Culture, Creativity and Management (CCM) programme, students from the CCM3083 Culture, Creativity and Management in Chinese Cities course completed the presentation for the "Cultural and Creative Design into the Communities” Planning Contest, co-hosted by Will Tengen Cultural Media Co., Ltd. and CCM.

Ms. Li Luling, the General Manager of Will Tengen Cultural Media Co., Ltd., the implementing unit of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Cultural and Creative Design Competition, and Ms. Ke Xueru attended as judges, with CCM Programme Director Dr. Wang Xi also present to witness this momentous occasion for the students.


During the presentation phase, the entire class was divided into eight groups, each taking turns to present their activity plans. These proposals aimed to deeply integrate cultural creative design into community development, actively exploring how culture and creativity could take root and flourish in the fabric of the community.

The atmosphere at the site was exceedingly lively, with eight groups showcasing their innovative activity plans through PPT presentations and engaging explanations. The judges listened attentively to every group's presentation, offering professional evaluations and guidance.

After intense competition and rigorous assessments by the judges, the winners of the first, second, and third prizes of the "Cultural and Creative Design into the Community Planning Competition" were finally announced.

After the awards ceremony, Ms. Wan Wanqi and Dr. Wang Xi, on behalf of BNBU, presented cultural and creative souvenirs to the guest judges, expressing gratitude for their robust support of the practical teaching activities and their professional guidance to the students.

This event not only provided a platform for students to showcase their learning achievements but also realized a seamless connection between classroom theory and industry practice. Through in-depth, face-to-face exchanges with industry leaders, students gained clearer and deeper insights into the market demands and project execution in the cultural and creative industry.
