XI·Home is a critical installation art piece disguised as a fictional wedding pop-up store. The work deconstructs traditional Chinese marriage symbols — festive on the surface, but inside it reveals the long-silenced pain, constraints, and inequalities faced by women in marriage. Nine installations together create an immersive journey that guides the viewer through a psychological shift — from curiosity to discomfort to reflection — giving visible form to invisible oppression.
