This research deconstructs the interaction mechanics of the Chinese interactive film-game The Invisible Guardian to explore how immersion is achieved within a "static framework". Utilizing the MDA (Mechanics- Dynamics-Aesthetics) framework, the study analyzes how explicit mechanics, such as limited-time choices and action prompts, create visual rhythm, while implicit mechanics like hidden intimacy systems and branching logic facilitate narrative agency. The findings challenge the conventional belief that immersion requires continuous motion, demonstrating that "presence" can be constructed through cognitive participation and symbolic action. This work provides practical insights for developing high-impact interactive narratives with cost-effective visual strategies.
