“MEMENT” is a real-time interactive installation. Participants stand in front of a camera and use hand gestures to “grab” scrolling text, assembling it into an absurd poem. After waving goodbye, the installation prints out a small thermal receipt featuring a real-time cutout of the participant, the sentence they just created, and the current time and serial number. As the thermal image fades over time, this receipt serves both as proof of existence and a trace of what is vanishing.
