Throughout the long history of humanity, there have often been some mystery creatures or phenomena, but they were often treated as imagination. However, starting from a certain year, a mysterious phenomenon called "Unpredictable" began to cover the entire globe. After that, these beings that only existed in tales began to be taken seriously and were named AL (Abnormal Life). The social order was rewritten due to these things, and thus ALC (Abnormal Life Containment) emerged as a new law enforcement agency. Dedicated to protecting people from harm, then resolving and regulating events related to AL. The story takes place in a city called "Torchland". Recently a series of consecutive murder cases have been keeping the staff of ALC extremely busy. As the cases continue to spread, they will uncover a truth that predates everything else.
