Jiangnan Water Town has nurtured many rich intangible cultural heritages, which are not only the core carriers of Jiangnan culture, but also an important part of Chinese traditional culture. In contemporary society, intangible culture heritage faces the dilemma of outdated communication modes and insufficient attraction to young people. As a cultural and commercial communication medium, IP image design is significant for activating the vitality of intangible culture heritage. This project selected Suzhou Embroidery and Nantong Blue Calico as two representative intangible culture heritages, with the aim of integrating intangible culture heritage with IP design to create an IP system and derivative cultural and creative products with both cultural connotation and modern aesthetic feeling.
