Aligning with International Standards, THEM Students Advance to " Shenhe Cup " Semis-Finals

The preliminary round of the Hotel Reception segment in the Zhuhai-Macao-Hengqin "Shenhe Cup" Vocational Skills Competition concluded on September 26, 2025. Two students from Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management Programme (THEM) at Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University (BNBU), CHEN Lefeng and LIN Yincheng, successfully advanced to the semi-finals.

For the preliminary round's new media segment, contestants were required to demonstrate their professional competencies. With the active coordination of Dr. CHAN Ho-kai, CHEN Lefeng conducted on-site filming at the St. Regis Zhuhai, enlisting two fellow students from the Cinema and Television Programme (CTV) to ensure production quality. Meanwhile, LIN Yincheng created a situational performance that illustrated the entire service process for non-local guests, integrating his personal reflections on the industry and service philosophy while skillfully promoting Zhuhai's history and landmarks.

Jointly launched by the Zhuhai-Macao-Hengqin governments, the " Shenhe Cup " is a regional skills competition designed to identify guest-focused hospitality talent through assessment criteria that mirror those of WorldSkills International.
